[ perhaps it's because that pilot suit reminds him so much of an EVA's, but Kaworu is feeling particularly chatty today, even despite his...bizarre awakening.
tone calm, friendly (though as always, vaguely distant), Kaworu switches the device to VOICE, opening a feed. ]
Welcome to Zodion, Tieria-san. What would you like to know? It's hardly a narrow matter.
[ this voice--? no, not one he recognizes, placid in tone. his suspicion is immediately cast, though the reasons for suspicion in the first place is hardly quantitative; Tieria would cast suspicion towards a beady-eyed, baby animal if the circumstances were right. ]
Zodion... [ as it said in the letter, of course. ]
Most specifically, I request information regarding my arrival here. What purpose am I meant to serve to these Twelve? I request clarification of the duties they intend to bestow upon me.
[ well, Kaworu certainly isn't a baby animal, and by no means would he find suspicion of him unwarranted if one were to truly know his nature. that said, he's somewhat oblivious to this kind of lack of affect, so he continues in the same, amiable way. ]
You're here to provide power to them, as far as I know. You'll find not much is known here, even to those who have remained for months on end...
[ a beat, well, this was the part he did know, at least... ]
--ah. As for the duties expected of you...they've already been bestowed. The method may not be to your liking, however, as I've found it isn't at all to many...but it involves ingratiating yourself to them with the help of another. Do you get it...?
[ what inefficient people must be living here. was it really under such heavy lock and chain? as far as the second part is concerned, the idea that Kaworu means sexual ingratiation is not one that would ever occur to Tieria spoken in such a vague manner. it's not that he's naive necessarily but it's not the kind of consequence he's expecting by any means. ]
I understand but your answer leaves much to be desired. Provided you aren't affiliated with my captors, there's no reason for you to hold back. Ingratiating oneself how exactly?
[ it's not like he can discern how familiar this person is with it but the fact that this place encompasses citizens of other worlds and times and universes and so forth is only the vaguest of conceptions at the moment. ]
I'm aware of that. I did not realize the term would not be recognized. Simply put, I am the commander of a one-man, mobile fighting unit-- if that explanation will sustain you.
[ are you mocking him, sir? because he knows you must have been in this confused state at one time as well. ]
It seems I was incorrect in assuming our captors would be listening to my plea.
[ additionally, he was rather panicked at the time. what that message really implied was a threat of violence upon anyone who did not answer his queries swiftly. luckily, that has been taken care of. ]
[ Tieria is unfamiliar with the goddamn iron man, apologies. ]
Regardless, I have received sufficient answers to my queries even if I am displeased by the current state of affairs, so there will beno need for such measures.
Hello Tieria Erde. Welcome to Zodion. There is no need for you to take up arms at the moment, though it may become a necessity again later. There was a bit of a conflict not very long ago but such a thing is uncharacteristic of this place. It is usually quite peaceful here.
[ for a minute, he almost thinks that's Setsuna F. Seiei with his full name spoken like that. but he soon realizes otherwise. ]
...So I have heard. What was the nature of this conflict?
[ apparently politics existed everywhere. how would he carry out the will of Aeolia Schenberg by himself and without Veda to a place so miscreant as this? ]
god tieria is so fucking beautifulfreedAugust 24 2011, 07:08:35 UTC
[N is not a gundam, N is a pokémon. he could probably get behind being a gundam though.
he makes a troubled noise.]
Unfortunately, we do not know. The enemy suddenly showed up and we had little choice but to fight alongside the natives to protect ourselves. I was not personally involved in the campaign so the amount of details I can give you is probably less than what anyone else could. There were many casualties from what I hear though.
oh baby you flatter me u/////ucelestialsAugust 24 2011, 07:23:36 UTC
[ ore wa pokémon???
this troubles Tieria as well. that meant it could easily happen again and without warning. how could he even hope to solve a conflict with no root cause? especially without a gundam at his disposal. it's becoming more and more clear to him just how very dependent on the world around him he truly is. ]
This is worrisome. Have you no recourse in preventing further such disaster? It could easily befall this place again if the reason has yet to be discerned.
[A pale faced deadpan girl appears on the other end]
Hello. I'm Lt. Commander Ruri Hoshino with the UE-Spacy fleet. I haven't heard of your group or a Gundam but I have limited data that I've collected. None of it is terribly good data though.
The technology is somewhere in the early 20th century other than the communications devices and there are rather few natural resources. The markets have personal type items and some food, but nothing in the lines of useful machine parts or computer components. There is a library, but it lacks any historical data and most of the technical information is in line with the 20th century.
[ no wonder it seemed like most of the residents he spoken to thus far had no understanding of mobile suits. of course, just from the initial view of the environment, he could discern that there were going to be some major fallbacks. coming from the 23rd century, he's surely going to be suffering from the lapse in technology. but this information is most valuable to Tieria, so she's met with a nod. ]
You have saved me some time. To think I have been forced into an earthbound state...
[ it's uncomfortable, to say the least. ]
Nevertheless, it appears that the people who reside here are of a great many ilk. Clearly they are not all from the same planet of origin, perhaps not even the same world if I were to admit to the possibility of such a thing.

A mobile suit pilot.

I have no idea what the hell that means. Look, wherever and whenever you're from... you're not there anymore.

Pleased to meet you. Any information you can relay to me beyond the basics of what I've acquired would be most appreciated.
