[he means haxorus; truthfully, N doesn't really care all that much about cheren one way or the other, he simply remembers him as the boy who pursued strength but could never quite match up to the hero of unova. it's quite a sad tale from his perspective but it wasn't one N sought to dwell on. he's smiling very fondly at the boy's companion.]

They can do many things. Before we were brought here, haxorus could call up waves, drop rocks on enemies, and rampage uncontrollably until he was tired.

He's never seen one before, so he's staring for a while before it starts to occur to him that his device is on and this person can probably see him watching.
