[The feed opens to a very lost Estelle in the marketplace in the water district. She actually isn’t lost, however she is definitely looking for something that is not there, something that she thinks should be there.]I’ve looked all over this city, but I can’t seem to locate the library or any place that might hold information on the history of ( Read more... )

With everything else the so-called Twelve have given to us, it wouldn't surprise me if there was a library somewhere in this weird planet.

[ though, he kind of wants to know if there is one, too ]

It awes me that I can't find one. Usually libraries are out in the open and easy to find. But there just has to be one!

[It awes her even more than she can't find history about this place.]

It probably wouldn't hurt to ask them. They don't seem so cruel to say no to something like that.

How can we ask them? I've heard they have only spoken to people in dreams, and once through this device.

Well, they've gotta be around here somewhere, right? When I first got here, they contacted us first through these machines.

Since they're the gods of this land, I would imagine they are here. And from what you said, they contacted people via these devices at one point - but I would assume that there's no way to contact them in return, correct?

We won't know until we try it!

Oh, you're right! We should try! Do we know any of their names, or is there a general 'god' contact in the directory of this device?

Er... Would Gods want to be called by their first name...? ... Besides, I'm sure 'God-sama' is more than enough.

I never thought of that. [Then again the Entelexeia had names and were sometimes referred to as 'gods', so no, she hadn't thought of that.]

'God-sama'? [She put emphasis on the -sama honorific, it being the second time she had heard it, though the first time she thought it was a part of a name.]

What does 'sama' mean?

Huh. You really don't know? ... Ah, that's right. People come from different fragments here, don't they?

[She shakes her head.]

No, I really don't know. [She then tilts her head curiously.]

Fragments? Is that what you call other worlds?

Then, it's your lucky day! You'll get a lesson from Battler-sama himself~

Battler-sama?

[She was really confused now. A battler is someone who...wait, what is a battler other than one who fights in battle? But it sounded like she was going to learn exactly what it was.]

Think of 'sama' as Master. ... And well--name's Battler. Battler Ushiromiya!

Oh, so if I called you 'Battler-sama', that would be the same as calling you 'Master Battler'.

[So then when she called...a bit of a displeased look shows up on her face.]

So if I called someone, let's say 'Rance-sama', I would be calling them 'Master Rance'?

[Well, she's going to avoid calling him that in the future if she ever speaks to him again.]

Anyway, my name is Estellise. It's a pleasure to meet you, Battler!
