[ For a second, there's only a bit of blinking as Shion stares down at the device. Since awaking in the strange new world, he hadn't really anticipated being reunited with Rat right away (though part of him intensely hoped he would). So hearing the sound of Rat's voice makes him pause. But the second passes and his eyes widen, a light returning to them. The smile on his lips shifts to something a bit more genuine. He's here. Of course he's here. And he's just the same as always.

A light laugh, less nervous than the one he'd given just moments before. ]

Rat, where are you? How did we... No, I guess that was explained in the letter, but- What should we do?

[ everyone seemed to have something they needed to do, but from the sound of it... this person's goal was something about the environment? enough to pique minato's curiosity, anyway. ]

[ A blink. Should he say? It hadn't been such a problem to tell Dogloan or Rikiga, and this place certainly isn't No.6, so there shouldn't be any fear of being listened in... Maybe it would be alright to explain. ]

[ truthfully, most of this guy's post sort of just flies straight over luke's head. what the hell is he talking about, all this talk of spring and hemispheres and seasons? how boring... he's also kind of weird-looking, so, you know, that's distracting. ]

A blink as it takes a few seconds for Luke's reference to register. Oh, that's right. The snake-like markings. He's gotten so used to them by now that he'd nearly forgotten. ]

Yes, actually! I have seen it for myself. Worshiping sometimes makes cute animals appear out of strange places.

[N moves off-screen for a moment before lifting a baby honey badger in front of the camera. it's really fucking ugly and one has to wonder what the hell is wrong with him for him to think it's cute because it has huge teeth and is snarling, but N looks...happy...to show his baby off...]

No one is certain how this occurs, and it isn't limited to just animals-- sometimes plants spontaneously appear or existing life grows quickly as well. It's quite fascinating, don't you think?

According to the gods, so long as we worship, the world will continue to grow so I suppose technically as long as those of us who first arrived have been here. As I said, it is not always animals that appear. Sometimes preexisting animals or plant life will grow, or something else about the landscape will change.

That doesn't make much sense, but... if it really does help, that's a good thing, right?
