THIS WEEK SERIOUSLY SUCKS!!!
First, I find out my brother's cancer has spread and he has to undergo dangerous chemo treament. Plus, he has another killer medical ailment. He's probably going to die.
Then, one of my best friends from grade school is moving to Texas today. I saw her last night to spend some time with her and wish her luck. It was extremely sad. She will be back in a couple of months but then she's gone again. It won't be the same without her around.
Today, I find out I have missed the qualifying time to get health insurance. Because of all the crap I've had the past few months trying to get insurance, I missed the boat. I can't get health insurance until Jan '09. I have been without insurance for over year and it's been tough. I need certain medical treatments that I haven't been able to get because I can't afford it without insurance. One of the big reasons I took my current job was so I could have benefits. I couldn't get benefits at Brookstone. Now, I can't get crap. Wes is looking into putting me on his insurance so I can have something. Thanks to gays (thanks bro), domestic partners can apply for coverage, not just spouses. I'm Wes's domestic partner by the way.
So, that's my week so far. Brother's dying, friend's leaving, and I can't get sick. And it's only fucking Tuesday. O I'm excited to wake up tomorrow. Damn bitches. . . .
