Deyan(hand raised while the mecha's guns train on him): Catherine! I didn't realise you would be here! I-I mean- What I mean to say is of course you wouldn't be HERE. You were probably at the resturant- Oh, shoot, that was today. Look, I know this looks bad, but I didn't stand you up because I forgot. It's because I was suppose to do something with my sister today, you know, Kauki? The one hiding behind that pillar- Oh. I know this looks bad, but I didn't ask you out today as part of some underhanded plot to distract you, Major Catherine Petrovich, from her guard post here so my sister can lead an assault on this position-
The mecha pivots at the waist and unleashes a burst of gunfire that pulverizes the column Kauki was hiding behind. Kauki sprints at high speed towards her brother and clothslines/grabs him by the throat/drags him along after her.
Kauki: You idiotic jackass! Why the Hell did you tell her that?!
Deyan(unchoking himself and getting his feet under him to run as well): She has a 50 ton mecha with a gun aimed at me! (regains as much of his composure by turning his angry glare to his sister) Besides, it's the truth!
Kauki: You don't tell the angry girl you stood up the reason why you stood her up! Especially if she's a mecha pilot! And you definately don't tell her you were doing it under MY orders! She's going to kill us both now!
Deyan: Oh, so it's fine if she was only going to kill me?!
Kauki: You are expendable!
Deyan: I am telling Mom and Dad!
