I went to Anime Expo this year for two days, and read on for an unorganized piece of my adventures, but first I wanna say....
I LOVE A/X!!!!!!! Woot for motherfucking cosplayers! I love it! It's a better feeling than when I became a Juggalo. I'll rep the fucking hatchet til I die, but shiiiiit, even with the assholes (i.e. the Umbrella bio troopers, who were biting my brother and his friend's style of stalking people since they were ninjas) everybody was having a good time. It's even more like a family reunion then with Juggalos... AND EVEN THEN THERE WERE SOME JUGGALO'S THERE!!!! I know because I cheated and dressed up as Anybody Killa first day, then a random member of Dark Lotus the second and last day. And I got my picture taken so many times for not being that interesting. Once or twice it was because they recognized who I was supposed to be, but the others just liked my style I guess. Today it was soooo much cooler. Got in some really good pics at the end, and made some friends. I'm still super stoked. I can't wait to get the pics developed. OMG there was a chick dressed like Christy of DOA3 fame, in her bikini from DOA Beach Volleyball and she had a SPOT ON costume... and I stood waiting for everyone to be done taking pictures so I could get a picture with her since Christy is my favorite DOA female character, by far, and after half a fucking hour standing there debating with a Snake Plissken cosplayer why the Dreamcast could have been saved and why Sega is always underestimated (imagine that... Anybody Killa chatting away with Snake Plissken about video games... funny metal images), she tells us she's "burned out" from everyone taking so many pics and I was like fine, fuck her, I'll go get a pic with Cammie and Chun Li. lol. All in all I wish I had gone the whole time, but it was a sweet two days, I'm going every year from here on out, and I picked up some sweet old school Ninja Turtles toys for like 5 bucks for 3 of them. Plus a stuffed Wolf from Virtua Fighter for a buck. And there was the most... and I mean most... in-fucking-credible Nightmare from Soul Caliber 2 cosplayer I have ever seen. Their costume was dead on. By dead on, I mean dead on. By far one of my top 3 favorites. Once I get my pics back, I'll update again with my favorites... Plus I gotta let the adrenaline go down and such. lol. All in all a good way to end the weekend. Ended up making some new friends who I'm sure we'll see next year. Peace ya'll.
Comment this fuckin' thing!
P.S. Mad props to Andrew Knight and Brian Buder for, on their own without the few of us who knew them going over the top, getting the entire audience at the karaoke competition to cheer for them the loudest out of pretty much everyone we saw, with their amazing rendition of the Speed Racer theme. lol. It was freakin' AWESOME!
