1. Total volume of music files on your computer... 40 some odd, I think.
2. The last CD I bought was... The Great Milenko
3. The last song I listened to before writing this was... None. Probably 7 Deadly Sins by Flogging Molly, 2 hours ago or so
4. Song playing right now... Hated Me - Anybody Killa
5. Five songs I listen to a lot or that means a lot to me...
I. Juggalo Homies - Insane Clown Posse. Love 'em, hate 'em, they write damn good lyrics. This song means a lot to me because I hold my true friends as close, if not closer in some cases, as blood family. I always got my homies and "they got my back like a tat; for that I love ya'll." And that's on my mom's.
II. Pass Me By - ICP. This is overlooked by a lot of juggalos. It means a lot to me personally because I sometimes feel like the world has chewed me up and spit me out and forgotten about me. I know I haven't had that hard a life but it ain't been perfect in any way, shape or form. "We all gon' die; But I'm not gon' fry; Even though most never try, I'm not gonna let this pass me by, no" That's how I view things now. This life is too short to be cautious. I'm gonna take every new opportunity that comes to me. Fuck off if you don't like that.
III. Shiny Diamonds - Violent J feat. Jamie Madrox, Blaze and Monoxide. This song means something to me because it makes me remember the good in the world. No matter how many haters try to get up in my shit and fuck wit me, and no matter how many people talk shit or fuck me over, and no matter how many bad things happen in this world, I still love living because the good far out weighs the bad.
"It ain't much going on but that's where I belong
Because some of them days be shiny diamonds, (sometimes)
And it can't be wrong,
because some of them nights the moon be shining, (sometimes)
Like a world of gold, so much unexplored
And I be climbing, homies rhyming, heaven
I'm in, people can do they thing"
If that don't make you realize shit ain't all bad, I dunno what will.
IV. Thy Unveiling - ICP. This is what being a juggalo is all about. Period. If you call yourself a juggalo and don't like this song you really should look at yourself in the mirror and second guess yourself. I almost cry to this day when i hear it. I can't help but go to sleep with a smile if I listen to this before I go to sleep. The Carnival IS God. I believe in God and I believe in the Carnival and it's power. This song changed my life. Literally. The only song that has gotten to me in a long time. I love being a Juggalo. *sniff*
"This ain't no fucking fan club!
It ain't about making a buck!
Don't buy our fucking action figures, bitch,
I don't give a fuck!
It ain't about Violent J, or Shaggy,
the Butterfly, or 17
When we speak of Shangri-La, what you think we mean?!
Truth is, we follow God! We've always been behind Him
The Carnival is God May all Juggalos find him!
(May the Juggalos find Him)"
V. Crystal Ball - ICP feat. Twiztid. I love this song and feel it on a few levels. Number one, it's just got good lyrics. Number two, the whole point of the song is that the only person who knows where you're going and what you're thinking and what is held in your future is you. No one else. No one but you is responsible for you but you. Basically don't let anyone else tell you what you can or can't do. Only you can tell you if you're going to Hell or Shangri La.
"Did you have a heart while you where here
and was it sincere?
You're still unraveling your future right now
What kinda person are ya bro, oh, well there you go
You control your own muthafuckin' destiny
I aint lettin' the devil get the best of me
I'mma make it into Shangri-La, golden walls
What's up with you? check your own crystal balls"
VI. Honorable mention... Thy Wraith - Insane Clown Posse. This doesn't mean as much to me as the others, but it still bears mention. This is basically about Death. Not jsut death, but Death. The grim reaper. The Wraith in the Dark Carnival faith. He watches our world through the eyes of a crow and then takes the departed's soul to the Carnival of Carnage. Life isn't ended by death. It only begins with dying. Death doesn't judge you. He only takes you to the Carnival and once you have been told where you are to go, he casts you onto the wagons carrying you to hell or takes your hand and guides you to Heaven/Shangri La. I used to fear death, but now I realize that dying isn't the end for anybody.
"Death is always at a shitty time
Don't bother trying to run and hide
Take his hand cross to the other side
(Step to the other side)"
6. Five albums I listen to a lot or mean a lot to me...
I. Thy Wraith: Shangri La. This was the album that made me a life long juggalo. I just about cried when I listened to Thy Unveiling. Still almost do. It's the ultimate way to show someone what being a juggalo is all about. It is the roadmap to my life. I love this album, and I love ICP for making an album that changed my life as much as this one did.
II. Amazing Jeckyl Brothers - ICP. This really started me listening to ICP with Fuck The World and The Shaggy Show. If it weren't for this I wouldn't be a Juggalo. Some don't like this Joker's Card as much as the others but I still find it a good album to listen to, to this day. 6 years since it came out, and I still remember the first time I heard FTW on Loveline. That says something.
III. Great Milenko - ICP. 75% of Juggalo's/lette's list this as their favorite. Many because of the exposure ICP had when this came out, but also just because it's a damn good CD, with almost every song being a classic.
IV. Freekshow - Twiztid. Good songs, decent story and definately a classic. Has one of my favorite songs ever, We Don't Die, on it.
V. Dirty History - Anybody Killa. Great CD. Not to the extent Thy Wraith is, but still amazing. The last song makes me tear up a little when I listen to it. Hey Ya'll also makes me think heavily. I love this CD as well. If I wasn't a Juggalo, this also would make me want to be one.
7. Which 5 people are you passing this baton to, and why? Whoever feels like it. Unless you already did it.
