Considering what some of the people say about where they come from, I guess our own place is rather boring... I'm from Japan, though it is not like there are any aliens there, or stuff like that. Aliens and ghosts are just stuff on television or in those games that Haru always plays. It is kind of like this city, though without the ships hovering in the sky, and not as technological.. There are televisions and that sort of thing, but some of the gadgets I see here... I can't say I know what an iPod is, or even a blackberry.
It's a small and cramped city.. Too many people in such a small space. You sometimes forget what it feels like to have wide open pastures before you and you can always see some building on the horizon. Even the stars are hard to see some nights and it never really gets that dark because the city lights are always on. I guess it was better when I was younger and lived with my parents, but I live with Kagura and her family, or lived, I guess. I have my own room there, for what it is worth. In a way, it wasn't really that hard to get used to living here, for it you take away the curses, it is a lot like back home, save for some of the strange.. people.
