War Journal Entry number 535 - missed movie opportunity
I've seen the ads for Madagascar 2, and I'm not thrilled.
I enjoyed the main characters the first time around, but if the ad is any indication they are just mugging their way through the new one in a "I know I'm funny so I don't even have to try" manner.
I'd rather just see the lemurs and the penguins.
Close your eyes.
On one edge of the screen stand the penguins.
On the other side stand the lemurs.
All of them.
Lead penguin says, "Well, boys, we're outnumbered, outgunned, and outcrazied. (Have you seen their king? What a weirdo!) But fear not. I have a plan. Step one: dress the private up as a girl and marry him to the king."
That's right boys and girls, Lemurs versus Penguins.
That's what I'd want to see.
