i love humidity-free days

Today I was able to straighten my hair. This has been the first day in a looong time since we have been experiencing such hot, humid, and rainy days. I look so much better with straight hair, and I know this because each and I every time I manage a straight 'do' it never goes unnoticed or uncomplimented. It sure beats the hell out of the unbrushed frizzy ball I put it into EVERY SINGLE DAY.

Colorado is coming quickly. Just five weeks and 2 days. I know the actual countdown not because I am a loser but because the man with the baby talk who works at the commons told me today while he threw together my spinach wrap. I feel like I know a lot about him. When I wore my CU sweatshirt he told me all about his annual (sp?) trips to Colorado. He doesn't ski. He takes pictures.

So my friends from Colorado, apart from FVSers and a FEW others, have all settled down with their serious boyfriends. I am only speaking of two but they are my best friends and while I am happy for them (I guess) it is still gonna screw up my summer because it'll be Daniel this, Nick that, and all I am gonna wanna do is get drunk and go fishing and longboarding (assuming I get one which I WILL because they are fun and i am GOOD) These stupid people with their meaningful relationships and anniversaries and poems and weekends with the parents and fantastic sex and cute messages and sleepovers. Right, so I am not jealous AT ALL, what would ever give anyone that idea. Maybe Tyler, or anyone else for that matter, will acknowledge what they're not missing by not having a relationship with me but will commit themselves for a) pity for me and b) just for fun. I will take what i can get.

Welp, I'm off to dry my hair in hopes of a humidity-free wednesday.
