I've been a busy bee!

And I've kept my promise since, technically, I made this post early Thursday morning - not late Wednesday.

Next time, I'll stick with encoding at a constant bit-rate for this Internet-streaming stuff. If you'd like to keep 'em from stuttering so much, Vimeo is nice enough to provide a download link. Just click the title under the embedded video and scroll down until you see the "Downloads" heading in the right column.

**EDIT: It's not just my videos that skip. Maybe Vimeo doesn't yet have the bandwidth to carry their superior video service?**
**EDIT 2: I haven't really had problems with skipping since.**

Anywho, I'll embed one right here:

Sarah Mayo: Ferry Me Across the Water by Ned Rorem from George Austin on Vimeo.

And put the other new ones behind a cut:

Come and Trip it from L'Allegro by George Frederic Handel from George Austin on Vimeo.

Diaphinia, No. 5 by Dominick Argento from George Austin on Vimeo.

If you'd like to compare, I've put these videos on YouTube as well.

I shot some test footage of the Thursday night crew at the Strategist last night to see what the lighting was like and play with equipment placement issues. Mel White posts audio recordings of gaming sessions online, and he had the brilliant idea to make videos of short, focused examples of play. Last night was a far cry from that eventual goal - I just moved the tripod to a few different spots and let it run - but I might throw together a little montage or two just for fun.
