So the D&D Delve is supposed to be a
30 Minute thing, and he let us play from like 2:30 to 4:30.
Did I mention I had a blast?
I can't wait to read part three of the 4th Edition preview/review on Ain't it Cool News. Here are links to parts
one and
two respectively.
I mean, 4th Ed D&D is not everything I could possibly want in an RPG, but I never expected it to be. I'm not sure any game could ever be that, though someday a FATE/SotC variant may come close. 4th Ed is turning out to be one hella-fun game that I'm looking forward to buying and playing. Here's hoping that Wizards has Wayne Reynolds take a third try at cover art for the Player's Handbook, 'cause I like the mock up that Jeffrey J. Visgaitis (of
Inner Circle Games)
did on EN World better than either of the official pieces.
Edit: I'm really digging the new look for Inner Circle's Complete Book of Denizens. They should run with that trade dress!
