Empty lot across the street from Doctor Wood, (the place you go to rent floor sanders. No such thing as a Home Depot in Berlin). (Yet).

art of the Berlin Wall, still left standing, as a memorial, (or tourist stop).

This was a display toward the end of the Jewish Museum in Berlin. Not sure what it means. It was an old suitcase, with this set of miniatures mounted on the top.

No idea what this thing does. Potsdamer Platz was full of these little humorous touches. (Another nice one was a set of two cylindrical columns like this; they began about ten feet above street level, and shot straight down into the basement, to allow sunlight to travel from street level, down the basement area. A very nice touch). This one was like a giant playful periscope to keep an eye on the park area.

This was the ground floor of four matching apartment houses in the old East Berlin. Everywhere you looked -- solid concrete. So I assume that at some point, after reunification, an artist had his heyday on all these blank concrete walls. This was at dusk one day, as two uniformed police patrolled the area.
