Puget Sound Blood Center is critically short of blood. Snow and ice kept a lot of people from donating, dropping the supply dramatically. Go give blood!
I went in this morning for platelet apheresis. For those of you who are on vacation this week and who have already given blood with PSBC, I'd highly encourage you to consider taking the time for apheresis. The platelet supply is also at a low, and there are fewer donors willing to take 60-90 minutes out of their schedule.
