On-line dating

I've been asked by many friends many times to start on-line dating thing, they think it will be funny. They all say that they all do it and its great, but for some reason, in bars, i am the only one who has the balls to go and talk to random chicks. I don't believe in on line dating personally, and if I’d do it, I’d do it for a good laugh, nothing more. Should i do it? Complete analyses will be posted here of course, for shits and giggles...;)
