To be honest, Zoey isn't sure what she should think of Beatrice-she met her on her first day and all the girl could talk about were demons and how great her magic was. And, at first, her reaction was that she was just plain crazy, but now that Zoey's met other people from worlds that don't match with her own, well maybe she isn't so mad... That doesn't mean Zoey trusts the witch as far as she can throw her, though.

Fran

Fran is perhaps the person whom Zoey has relied upon most so far. Though she isn't quite sure what to make of him overall, what with the hat and the involvement in the mafia(?!), she knows that he's dependable. While he could have easily run off without her when the Taker came after them during the night, he grabbed her and pulled her along with him, even with his clichéd (albeit well-timed) line. And even when running away from trouble, they seem to work together pretty well. While she wouldn't call it fun when they've talked, he can hold a real conversation-which is a nice distraction to be around, that's for sure.

Galatea

Sister Latea, for that's the name Zoey knows her under, is one of the most sensible people she's met so far. She seems to understand what's happening the most of anyone and, hey, to add onto it, she's totally badass. I mean, a blind nun who's been trained with a sword? What's not to love?

Lavi

Lavi is an optimist, as far as Zoey can tell, and she knows she needs that in their situation if she's going to keep it together. To her, he truly does seem like a good guy, and would completely trust and rely upon him in a tough situation without question, should it become necessary. Plus, he's pretty good-looking on top of all that and definitely fun to talk with. It almost made life seem a bit more normal while they flirted back and forth which was a nice change of pace.

Orihime Inoue

Like Lavi, Orihime here is a very cheerful girl, and couldn't be kinder. Zoey, while impressed by the way she's holding it together, is a little worried that Orihime is going to fall apart at some point or another. She plans to keep an eye out for the younger girl-after all, nobody left behind.
