bubba gump day
Yesterday was Shrek with Nayd, Earl, Mau and Mich. It was fun. Great in fact.
After eating dinner, I suddenly felt tired. If I was a cellphone, low batt, even drained. I don't know why. Mau was the first to notice. I was just sitting there, doing nothing but smoking. I wasn't even talking that much. I usually could stay up until the wee hours of the night but yesterday was an exception. Natatahimik lang ako kapag a) lasing, sober, tipsy, or b) may sakit. Pero kahapon it was c) none of the above. Wala naman akong iniisip na malalim or whatsoever. Basta.
Then the topic shifted to relationships. Being single to be exact. Sabi nga... Masaya maging single, nakakainggit nga lang minsan. E masaya naman talaga na walang iniisip, walang inaasikaso, walang tinetext, walang tinatawagan, walang hinihintay. Maybe people are just afraid of commitments. Pero hindi rin. E kung wala, wala, wag ipilit. Then what if close close ka sa kabarkada mo, then naging kayo. That was the next subject. Me and Earl (incest, duh!). Me and Nayd (whaaaa!). Me and Mau (rarrrrrrrr!). Me and Mich (okay, tama na). So parang babalik ka sa weighing pros and cons. Being systematic lang. Pros: 1) magkakilala na kayo, and, 2) kilala na sya or ikaw ng barkada nyo at wala nang getting-to-know na magaganap. Cons: 1) malolowka lahat, and, 2) when things go wrong, kampihan ito. So kayo na bahala to think. If the pros outweigh the cons, go! Sabi nga, if it works, go... if not, stop.
Yesterday seemed to be a grand hipon day for Makati. They were all over the place. Hipon = maganda ang katawan, masarap. Pero ang ulo, spefically and mukha, itapon na or sipsipin lang tapos igigilid sa plato. Tipong masasabihan mo ng "Sorry, honey, but the built doesn't compensate the face." Maraming types ng hipon. May mga sugpo, meron ding mga alamang. Haha! Pero dahil nasa Greenbelt yun, I named them not hipon, but bubba gumps! Diba how cute?! Oh, another bubba gump, 3'o clock.
