come a week, i will join the ranks of my legal drinking brethren, assumedly though, this forthcoming event will do little to alter my actual comsumption of alcohol, nor will it hinder my undying love of using pleonastic circumlocution when i type livejournal entries. furthermore, i do intend to have a grill-out in celebration for the aforementioned/upcoming event at an as-of-yet unrevealed loyal friends' household. i invite all that i know, but will most likely not be gracious to free-loaders, because my father is providing a keg, some liquor and food, that of which i solely intend for my friends, their friends that are friendly to me, girls that my friends are trying to pick up, and acquaintances that i accidently run into until this named event occurs. i no longer have a myspace account, but word of mouth has informed me that the invitational bulletin will state 'come join us for an intimate evening of ol' fashioned dining in celebration of our favorite androgynous playboy's twenty one years hi jinks, tomfoolery and debauchery.' or something along those lines.
hey Carrie, i'm taking one of your mother's classes for art therapy. rather excited, i do say.
oh, how i am ever so excited for my cartoonist job this next year, truly so. heavens to betsie, though, i was feeling rather tight until i started reading up more intensively on dada art, because i had intended from classroom knowledge of the subject to incorporate that in with my drawings, you know, spice up the editorial page. now i know a lil more, and i do plan on reading up even moreso, naturally you say, and perhaps we shall see some progression, dare i say.
i have two books coming, thanks to my parents as birthday gifts, one which documents the history of the 'pop surrealism' rise and the other which deals with the recent craze with vinyl toy-making by artists for commercial exposure. more than likely, you will have a chance to read them, since i will place them temporarily on the end tables in the first living room (yeah, we have two for those who have yet to visit).
today was my final critique for my summer ceramics class, which went well. i felt he held back on certain people, however, not because he would not rip into someone, i think he was much more lenient due to the fact that it was only a four week class, and progression was not as easily possible. all-in-all, i am glad i loosely worked within a series, well more or less a set ideal, but experimented with different processes. too many of my ideas came in the last half of the week we were able to work with wet clay, but i have sketched out some concepts i intend to work on when i take my next ceramics class. boy howdy, y'all, the soda kiln produces some amazing results, i may hafta focus my attention there for awhile.
Nelson is away for his family vacation, so I am sans my drinking buddy, are you a bad enough dude to fill his somewhat small shoes?
Olivia and I watched a good portion of the 2004 version of 'dawn of the dead', it was hilarious. i'm sorry, unnecesary amounts of sci-fi gore just gives me the giggles. actually, i'm not sorry, not one bit, i had a good laugh. also, i was rather inebriated, so much so that it took three attempts to stand up, consequently during my second fall, i bent my glasses. oh yes, i fixed them...sorta.
ol' Nick T. and I have an especially long, especially low skate box as of a last week, great for those that hardly skate like us, but also a fun time for our injured friends that wish to take it easy and those who need to test out some new, tough tricks.
i have been spaced out for the last two days, due particularly to my overindulgent coffee consumption. i pretty much have only had coffee to drink and i've had a lot (i'm a thirsty bloke), i better switch to water soon.
ugh, i'm tired of the computer lab, these people smell a bit off, and that girl won't stop talking on the phone. that's it, im out!
pardon the abuse of the space bar. or don't, what do i care?
