all in one place
it seems i have my writings all over the place. there are unfinished pieces on the pc here at work, some at home, some in a notebook. there are shorts posted here on LJ, while some are on my deviantart, my wordpress (yes. i have a wordpress) and even on facebook. i blame my laziness and lack of attention for this mess, however that is not the point of this post. the point of this post is that i will no longer stand for this. i will be gathering all my written works and organize them (duh! what else am i gonna do? eat them with salt? and no. dont answer that.) then post them on deviantart and tumblr.
now, there is a critical difference between the two. dA allows for editing of deviations. so this means i can update the stories without breaking links. however, tumblr works via posts. so this means a story on tumblr will be spread out over numerous posts. of course this is assuming i will post unfinished or WIP stories. while this keeps content released faster, it can be a hassle and it is messy. an alternative is i only post finished (or at least my loose definition of the term) works on dA and tumblr, and post the WIP stuff here on LJ. afterall, three of my AWESOME writer friends and mentors (YES I AM TALKING ABOUT YOU NESTOR-HAKASE, DANIELLE-SEMPAI AND TEINA-SENSEI) are here.
