Recommended: Online language learning resources
You don't have to be a librarian to enjoy the freely available Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) journal. Intrepid librarians research, write and publish information about online resources useful to people seeking education or information resources. The current issue of College and research Libraries News includes this very useful article by Seth Kershner, Learning Languages on the Web: Online Tools. All free resources, many of them lesser known.
