Good book news of the day: Free Books For Kids Now Also Available In Braille

Jun 20, 2011 11:44

The Dollywood Foundation will begin a partnership with American Printing House for the Blind to expand their offerings to include books in Braille.

Nice story about a project funded by the Dollywood Foundation.  Yes, that's Dollywood as in the talented & empathetic Dolly Parton.

I volunteered at a state library for the blind for about a year, until work opportunities & scheduling meant that I couldn't be there any longer. I was grateful for the experience.
