(no subject)
Oh man.. I completely forgot about livejournal for a few months or so.. (Possibly exaggerated)
Well.. Anyways.. Here's the big news: I'm moving up to Davis, CA (NorCal) tomorrow. Haha. Sudden, huh? Tell me about it.. I was given only three weeks' notice... I'll be there for a minimum of two years.. At the moment I tell people that I'll come back down after the two years, but really - who can predict how things will have changed after two years? I find myself marveling at the changes that've occurred in just ONE.
As for the reason, it's slightly complicated. The major players in my sudden move are my inability to do things normally due to my residential status, and the financial limitations imposed on my parents (who now reside in Colorado) by said residential status. Those aren't the only reasons, but those two are the source of the other reasons. It's difficult and emotional having to move away so suddenly, but it just reaffirms my outlook that you've got to let go of what control you may think you have in life and just go with the flow.
