Rest in Peace
Just to give a quick update:
My grandpa died early this morning and we're going to be cremating him later today. I'm very thankful that I took the advice of many and followed my instinct to come down here. I can beat myself up and say I wish I had come sooner but he knew I was here and I half believe that he finally let go because he got to see me one last time. I loved him very much and I can only hope and assume he loved me just as much. I will always have that and I will always have his memory to carry with me. I will write more and share some of my memories and feeling but right now I'm going to enjoy my short time with my family and process all that has happened.
Thanks to everyone for your support and positive thoughts, prayers, etc. They did what they were supposed to do and for that I'm extremely appreciative. Hope everyone and theirs is well. Until next time.
