I will do my homework I will I will!
I was going to write a nice rambly post about my post-birthday celebration over the weekend, but now I lack the motivation. To sum things up: the weather was fucking perfect, Barry and Dan are gay and wonderful, we stayed at a four hundred dollar hotel for cheeeap, APPLES OUM NOM NOM, there were lots of parades, the Old Market in Omaha is wonderful and I wish that I was rich and savvy and cool (and also rich) so that I could stay there forever, I ate lots of food, and I bought myself some tea. IT'S GOOD TEA SHUT UP.
But this week kind of sucks. I'll miss half my classes on Thursday because of the bloody military ASVAB test, which would be tolerable, except for the fact that I'll be gone all day Friday. Making up a day and a half of homework in... a day and a half = HELP HELP. And argh totally not looking forward to the Yearbook ad sales on Friday. "I really don't want to," I told everyone, with a great deal of distressed whimpering on my part, and in spite of the assurances of one of the editors that "you don't have to (but I'll keep asking you about it anyway just to further confuse and horrify you)," it seems as though Mrs. Durrin is, in fact, making me do it. I actually went out and sat in my car and cried out of frustration.
So on Friday, instead of being able to keep up with my homework pile, I get to spend all day driving around Winner with someone so that we can visit businesses (and Winner really does have a surprisingly large number of businesses to visit) and collect their checks and awkwardly ask "can you spell that for me?" while we fill out order forms. I don't care about the bloody pizza and donuts -- I do not like talking to people I don't know and I do not want to have to spend the day with anyone else from Yearbook. So yes, I am going to whine and bitch about it.
