Consumerism, parts 1, 2, and 3

  1. David Pogue does the research so you don't have to. He wrote a column on where to get prints made from digital photos. His conclusion:
"Next time my mother wants to review my photos on the screen and order prints with one click, I’ll use Snapfish or Kodak Gallery. And next time I just want my friends to be able to see and grab copies of my pictures online, I’ll use Picasa Web Albums."

  2. After much online deliberation I went down to Tom Bihn and bought a Brain Cell for my MBP. Love it, highly recommended, and I enjoy supporting a local business too. It's great in my messenger bag, or stand-alone. Next step is to make myself a leather bag to drop it in.

  3. I wasn't kidding when I said I was looking forward to getting back to my own bed; the ancient guest mattress I was sleeping on in Philadelphia was terrible. I woke up with a stiff back every day. My mattress at home is better, but not good. I know a few of you really love your beds. What do you have and how did you choose that one? Thanks!
