"I'm proud of life and the things that I've done. Proud of myself and the loner I've become..."

And I don't even have a car >or< guitar. I found some crystal wine glasses in an unopened box in my storage room. Next time I have a date I'm going to fill them with french fries or chicken nuggets. Who says I don't have class?
----------
So my house got painted today. Living room is mostly a brownish color, some redon the bar and on the far wall. It looks a ton better. Some day I might even care and be happy that I'm just trying to push forward.

Future House Plans:
Gonna paint the faux stonework and my door black. Do some kind of graffiti thing on the door, see if I can get Drew or Jessie or someone else with artistic talent to paint something on the stone.
Paint the cabinets and stove hood vent black. Sand off the wallpaper behind the counter, paint the wall red. Probably the rest of the kitchen walls too, but maybe more brown or black. Countertops will be painted black. Someday I might replace the sinks. More likely I'll get a bunch of plaster of paris and recover it.
Tear out a space for a garden in the back sometime in the spring. Convert my pond into a compost heap, lay brickwork to divide it, probably take the rocks from the pond and use them on it, too. Haven't decided what I'll grow. Probably peppers, onions, chives for spring, maybe some corn. Pumpkins and something else for the fall.
Probably set up some kind of ghetto mini-irrigation system with PVC piping or something. Maybe just buy a new hose and tear it up, or borrow some tools and put an actual wooden structure up. Might be able to work it into a stand for grapes or something. Love the smell of grapes.
Going to clear out my storage room, paint it black and black out the windows. Stick my computer in there. Maybe get some soundproofing and a nice stereo.
Need to figure out what to do with the bathroom. I really don't want to retile, but it needs it. Need to replace the walls for the shower, too. I'm thinking dark greens. Maybe some kind of black-striped wallpaper.
Don't know what to do with the bedroom. Wish I could just wall it off ::grinn:: Need to do something crazy with the ceiling, get a new TV and a smaller entertainment center. Maybe get a flat LCD and stick it on the built-in dresser. No idea what colors I want to repaint it. Something dark and neutral that's not black. Maybe do that chalkboard paint thing, could at least cover it in craziness. Or wallpaper it with conspiracy theory-style newspaper clippings and pictures.

I understand why people keep busy. It must be the healthy/productive people's way of abolishing thought. Myself, I find it's much easier to get the same results with alcohol and drugs, but that's not particularly healthy or productive. It is, however, much more fun.

I'm so pissed off at music. I swear to christ nobody uses fucken winds anymore. No sax, no horns, no flutes, fucken nothing. Just keep plucking your guitar strings, banging on your drums, studio editing your voices and sampling your media clips you fucken trendy assholes ::Grinn::

The revolution is coming, I swear to God. It needs to because "The War" isn't distracting me anymore, and that's how this world is built to work. Soon there'll be elections and everyone will want to forget that we're over there, and we'll still be there. 10 per cent of the world will still have 90 per cent of the money, there still won't be any hope for anything better or jobs for anyone who's lived below the poverty level. Someday enough people will realize that it's bullshit, and that it's not a problem with the government it's the people that are running it getting paid by special interests to fan flames of disinterest in the workings of our world.
But I'm going to shut up now. Because I love President Bush for his wise choices and have the utmost respect for all of our senators and representatives for their integrity and honesty.
No, really. I support our troops. Guantanomo Bay, all the way. Forget about Darfur. Look at these pretty shiny things...

Wow. I've wandered into rant mode tonight. Must be the paint fumes.
