Hey! Work has been really busy. I promise I'll have a letter up tonight after work. <3
I'm so sorry this wasn't finished sooner. Work has continued to be a cluster that shows no signs of abating any time soon. I'm throwing a quick little thing up now and I'll keep fleshing it out tomorrow with idea suggestions. Hopefully, I'm not holding you up any further, wonderful author.
Also, I'm so sorry I gave so many options because omg, what did I do to myself and you??? I have so many thoughts to type up, lol.
Code Black
Oh, what can I say about this little show I didn't expect to steal my heart like it has. I didn't need more tv shows but I decided to give this a try and it's the only one that's stuck from the slate of tv shows I watched last season. It's all about the found family and working in an environment that is crazy beyond belief with clashing personalities and crises every two seconds.
Leanne is the woman I wish I could be. Mario is the my heart. Angus is so adorable. Mike is the guy I want in my life. And everyone else in the cast is adorable. I love Malaya. She's someone I would love as a friend.
Anyway, I know I've mostly focused on Angus, Mike, Mario, and Leanne in my requests. Anything that has any of them as the focus would be wonderful.
Angus Leighton/Mario Savetti - look, I'm a sucker for this kind of antagonist relationship that turns into such a deep friendship. Mario is so wounded and insecure in ways Angus just isn't due to his home life and circumstances in life. They fill in the gaps for each other that they didn't realize were there. They're good at balancing each other out. It amuses me how close the actors are and how that's been incorporated into their characters. I would love anything exploring how they really did go from butting heads and super suspicious about each other to Angus bringing Mario into the fold and smoothing down some of his rough edges. And how they tip from friends into something more. That scene in the locker room where Angus and Mario are getting dressed for Mario's dad's funeral hit me in the feels so hard. Along with the fact that Angus knows so much about Mario. I also loved how in the beginning of the season when Angus is all worried about his brother, Mike, Mario is there supporting him 100%.
Mike Leighton/Mario Savetti - Mike is so who Mario would be if he'd had a different upbringing. The easy charm and the smarts without the rough edges. I think they play interesting off each other especially with all Mike's heard from Angus about Mario. I'm amused how that wary distance turned into somewhat like a friendly banter/rivalry as season 1 wore on. I'm a little disappointed that we didn't see more them interacting in season 2 before Tommy Dewey had to be written off the show because of his Hulu series. I'm also so pleased that when Angus was dealing with his drug addiction Mario went to Mike to attempt to get his friend help.
Leanne Rorish & Mike Leighton - I love their mentor/student relationship and how those boundaries changed when he came back and got promoted to program director. A look into their conversations dealing with that or either of the other two relationships would be amusing. I could also see Mike having a crush on Leanne and I'd be interested in seeing what someone would do with that kind of relationship between them. I also would see how Leanne is the buffer between Mike and his domineering father while he's a resident or as he's now taking on this larger role at Angels Memorial.
Angus Leighton & Mike Leighton - I love the relationship between the brothers, how Mike trusts Angus so much more than his own father. It'd also be interesting to see what broke the family so far apart. It seems like it has something to do with their mother's death and how their father can't deal with loss in a productive manner so he has to micromanage their lives. Anything with these two would be especially if either of them are in any kind of relationship with Mario.
Ed Harbert/Leanne Rorish - So this was a pairing that surprised me. I wasn't wanting to like them because I wanted to get to know the main cast more before they kept throwing new characters at us but the dynamic between the two of them was fascinating. This respectful push/pull with Ed having been in Leanne's shows and not wanting to repeat the frustrations he experienced but he does have to run a hospital after all. That clash in perspectives would be neat. Same with the fact that Ed seems to bring out a different side of Leanne than usual.
Haven
Duke Crocker/Nathan Wuornos - long time frenemies with a complicated history. Anything that delves into their complicated feelings for each other and how that affects their interactions or the fact that they can't stand to lose each other but hate each other at the same time. There's so much emotion tucked into their interactions and motivations it's fascinating. Either set in the world of the show or slightly AU exploring different things, I'll love. I'd be super pleased to see something where Nathan's also able to feel Duke's touch somehow or is only able to feel Duke's touch like how it is with Audrey. Go wild. I'll be pleased with anything. :)
Cold Case
Lilly Rush/Scotty Valens - the complicated work dynamic of these two makes my heart pitter patter. They're such contrasting personalities but they work so well together. Even through the ups and downs, they don't hold it against each other. There's such a shimmering tension between them I'd love to see what happens when it finally boils over. How do they make it work? How does Scotty get through to Lil and vice versa. Working a case or sitting stake out, how distracted do they get? How do they keep the personal and the professional from crossing over and what happens when it does?
Lilly Rush & John Stillman - I love this found family dynamic here. How John's as much the father she never had along with being her boss. He recruited her specifically I'd love to know why and how he got her to come join his team. There's some ambiguity about her timeline since she worked in Questioned Documents for a while and then was a beat cop before moving to detective and then into homicide itself.
John Stillman & Scotty Valens - This is more of a mentor relationship than anything else. He's not as involved or hands on with Scotty as he is with Lil. Did Stillman want Scotty in the same way that he wanted Lil for his team or was it for other reasons that Scotty was transferred in? Or explore how they are on the job or at First Thursdays or anything.
Nick Vera & Lilly Rush - I'm never sure what to make of them. They're supportive and teasing but Nicky is always so gruff. How did he take to having the first female in Homicide in his department? Working the same cases or working with him? How did they warm up to each other until they saw themselves as part of the same time or anything else you can think of.
Start Trek: Alternate Original Series
James T. Kirk/Hikarua Sulu/Nyota Uhura - Okay, so obviously Jim Kirk is my heart in this fandom. I love how he and Sulu interact and I also love how Uhura brings out a different side to all of them. The three of them together would be neigh unstoppable. Deal with Spock in whatever way you see fit as long as you treat him with respect. I enjoy him and used to read a lot of K/S but have moved into lesser explored pairings now.
James T. Kirk/Nyota Uhura - They continually challenge each other and will always do so. They're such different people that coming together would allow them to see different aspects of the world. Anything with them would be amazing.
James T. Kirk/Hikaru Sulu - These two are very much alike I think with Sulu being a still waters run deep kind of thing. Like Uhura would, Sulu would challenge Jim in ways he wouldn't expect. He'd probably also indulge in the same faults that Jim does, egging each other one until certain chaos happened.
Hikarua Sulu/Nyota Uhura - I think they'd be lovely complements and they'd at least be able to commiserate about the chaos that is Jim Kirk being in their lives. Not that they'd trade a minute of it for anything else because Jim is many things but he is also their captain.
Marvel Cinematic Universe
James "Bucky" Barnes/Natasha Romanov - Spies of my heart. Complicated history with memories and hard situations. They have a lot in common and a lot of shared history that we don't know about yet (but feel free to incorporate what you feel like of comics canon. It's all good by me.) Thrown into this world where they have to choose sides but still somehow need to figure out who they are in the middle of the story. Oh, they're the broken lethal power couple of my heart.
Steve Rogers/Natasha Romanov - They're both in many ways out of their time and trying to figure out where they fit in this new world. They're such delightful contrasts that they'd continually challenge each other and amuse and tease I feel like. Steve is this too good to be true guy and Natasha is the woman that never believes. Together they'd take over the world and each other. Feel free to include comics canon or any of the comics AUs. I'd love domestic or minor AU or major AU or anything. Just no mundane/coffee shop/high school AUs. They're not my favorites.
Clint Barton/Natasha Romanov - snark, banter, communicating in looks and touches, a language all of their own. Give me any and all. Explore their barely mentioned history or their complicated feelings. I'm not a fan of Laura as presented in Age of Ultron. I like the concept of her as a character and have read some good fic about her but she's a character I seek out to read. No bashing or unnecessary death. Either cast her in a different role or don't use but no death or character bashing.
Tony Stark/Natasha Romanov - They'd be an epic couple. Outgoing, no filter genius who pretends to care less but cares entirely too much and the restrained, chameleon superspy who could kill you in your sleep. A definite pair of contrasts but they know each other better than you think they would. They're cut from similar cloth but different patterns. Anything exploring a relationship between the two would be amazing.
Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens
Poe Dameron/Luke Skywalker - Okay, I read leaupagus' trashfire jesus story and I was completely smitten. Anything and everything with them would be amazing. I especially love Poe having to break through Luke's walls and wariness about the sanity of a relationship with someone so much younger than him. Nothing inappropriate when he's not of age, please.
Star Wars Original Trilogy
Luke Skywalker/Han Solo - contrasts! I think you're seeing a pattern here, lol. I also love the idea of the world weary smuggler falling head over hells for this innocent little farmboy and wanting to save him. Also wanting to corrupt him because come on, Han's only human.
Leia Organa/Luke Skywalker/Han Solo - I love the dynamics between the three. They balance each other out so nicely. Without one they're sorta lost as we could see in the fallout of The Force Awakens. Exploring how they get the distant Luke to buy into this or any other way they fall into things together would be cool.

Hal Jordan/Bruce Wayne - More of the pattern is showing itself here. How does Hal break through to get Bruce to take something for himself? Or how does Bruce allow someone else into his life? Hal in many ways makes Bruce actually human. Bruce lives for his kids and his duty but won't live for himself. In return, how does Bruce make Hal see himself as more than the guy from the broken home and the dumb jock attitude he projects? I don't know much about their canon history so let yourself run wild.
RENT - Larson
Mark Cohen/Roger Davis - Saw the movie in 2005, saw the play at some point after and fell utterly in love with it. I love the whole world. Don't leave out April or Maureen or Mimi. They're such a vital part of their histories that it would do them an injustice. Mark's the guy always on the sidelines observing everyone else. How does Roger begin to think about his best friend as something more? How does he get Mark to actually believe him? How does he break Mark out of his self imposed isolation?
