in a dream, in a room, in a funky ass cartoon

shared the electrico cd with my sister. it's not bad, there are a few really good songs in it. yet i don't think it's that fabulous a debut to warrant them a mtv award nomination. honestly, i think comrade dave or kapitol (hahaha) can come up with similar songs-lots of them are riff-based anyway. the thing that's different is that there's really good recording on the electrico album. moral of the story? GET GOOD RECORDING EQUIPMENT. of course, money doesn't come easy. but i wonder how much electrico will actually make. i went to sembawang music the other day and it was actually sold out.

anyway. EXAMS ENDED TODAY! goddamn, one whole month of exams? can you believe that? that is INSANE. well, i didn't really feel that happy after the paper, just "kinda happy". my arms are really aching, i shouldn't have gone to exercise yesterday before the paper, but the truth is, i'm getting fat and unfit. oh well. the three mudpies i shared with four other classmates today certainly won't help. but it was joses' birthday and he somehow agreed to foot half the bill for desert at NYDC. so now the kahula or however you spell it mudpie; the irish cream mudpie and the tirimasu mud pie are resting in the extra half inch of flab i picked up from 9.30 to 10.30 tonight. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOSES WONG. don't forget me when you're too big a bigshot. joking laaa.

tommorow, three classmates of mine are flying across asia back to their homes. one to indonesia, one to vietnam, one to china. and as i type this now i'm becoming really sad. i really loved our class for the fact that it was diverse, with scholars from all over asia. i think i've learnt a lot from them, and i hope we've left them a good impression of singapore. i can't go see them off because of the damned psc psychometric test, but i might try and catch phuong at 7.30am and take a cab down to the psc building or wherever it is that the test is being conducted.

at least tonight was good-it's probably going to be the last experience of childhood i'll really experience. throwing waterbombs at each other across the foyer, the bleachers; getting the whole place wet. hahaha that's 2sb1 '04 for you i guess. my dream is that every couple of years or so-or even better, at least once a year-we'll all fly back to singapore and meet up again. as far as i know, some of the girls are setting off for further studies, and all the scholars will be dispersed across the world. of course i'll be away from singapore too, on this cosy island called PULAU TEKONG. let's hope all this doesn't end.
