(no subject)
Currently I am sitting at JFK airport in New York awaiting my departure to Israel. I can't lie: I'm nervous. In part because I don't know what to expect; in part because I worry about folks back home; in part because I hate the feeling of missing out on my life. I think it will be a very fun and exciting experience and am looking forward to it. Yet, a part of me can't wait to just have it behind my belt and be back home.

If I have time and Internet capabilities, I'll try to post somewhat regularly over the next 3 weeks. But, I doubt I will since most of my time will be spent hiking, camping with the Bedouin, or sleeping under the stars in the desert.
It should be fun.
Well, I'm off now to entertain myself. I'm wondering whose idea it was to wake up at 3am... oh, wait... that was mine.
