had a spectaculararific birthday. they always say that 19 and 20 are the two least important ages from the time you turn 16 (i.e.: 16 is driver's license, 17 is rated R movies, 18 is adult, 19 and 20 are nothing, then of course 21). but, i think i would have to disagree. while 19 was pretty useless, 20 gives a person more credibility in the world. it makes you seem older while 19 still seems like a teenager--a kid. that is what becoming 20 has enlightened me upon.

i have been having the best summer that i can remember. i have gotten to go home (or plan trips home) quite frequently. i have lots of things to do to keep my life structured. i have had plenty of time to do the things that i want or like to do. i have gotten to read and learn things that i have wanted. there seems to be a couple of voyages in my future. and the internship and job could not have worked out more perfectly.

all my love to the people who are reading this and wished me a happy birthday. it was nice to know that all of you still remember me. i stood in the mirror on tuesday, actually, and thought, "i was wrong in high school. there are plenty of people in the county who liked me." i used to commonly wonder.

well, i have plenty of thoughts to share, but part of the joy of waking up at this time is that i wanted to watch the price is right back in my room. so i have 9 minutes to pack my things and get back.

all my love (in the most serious manner possible). you all are all fantastic and i really miss you these days.
