Movie
I saw a movie called, "We were warriors". It was a movie about violence and the effects it has on family. It made me quite sad since the character that I felt connected to had something tragic happen to her. Although I only saw half of the movie I felt it was really good. The setting was in New Zealand and it was a foreign film.
I feel that I prefer foreign films to those that are produced in the us. I feel that they give us something more than what we really see. Not something that is icing on the cake but the reality of life in other countries. Sometimes it's not always about the aspects of other worlds but that they show us things that we try to hide or avoid.
