Turns out I don't have the right graphics controller to play FFXI. It makes me sad.
I got really depressed that night.
I can't believe I got my hopes up. I knew something bad was going to happen. I just didn't know what.
Anyway Dan mad me feel better. I went over his house and he allowed me to play on his computer and make my character. My character's name is Nalini but I was really hoping for Alexandrite. She's rather short with black hair and she's a White Mage. I got up to level 5! Dan gave me some money and bought me some stuff. ^^ It makes me excited.
As for the graphics controller I don't know what I'm going to do about it. I have to figure out if I have an open slot on my computer and what graphics controllers can run with my computer. I really want to play this game because I want to spend more time with Dan and for us to have more things in common. It's something that we both can get excited about. ^^
