Yesterday I got a letter from the company that owns my building telling me that they'd be happy to re-lease my apartment to me, but me rent will increase by $135 a month. Needless to say, I am looking for a new apartment to rent while I continue to look for a home to buy. Damn it. Maybe I should just find a cheap apartment and continue saving toward my down payment for another year or two.

I feel like I just got screwed with my pants on.
