Guess it depends on if you're still awake or just coming up from sleep.
Not much of note for the past day beyond what time I've spent working (or pretending to work) at my computer. Doing that without accomplishments to show for it gets to suck after a while. Did some shell and perl scripting early on -- mainly to keep in the habit but also to play around with a few ideas I had.
Then I spent time looking over the source code for several freely available http servers to see if any might (easily) port over to the BeOS. Had to ignore a couple I came across which require
inetd (fine by me); those will have to wait for
BONE's appearance in the next version of the operating system... but when will that make it to store shelves?! One server that _may_ work out is
thttpd. I'll spend the weekend seeing what it will take to get it to compile, at the very least. So for now I'll keep using
RobinHood, which is OK for what it is (certainly better than the other "native" choices), but lacks features I was used to having with
Apache. Sadly THAT one is beyond my grasp since BeOS 5.0 crippled it -- I either can't compile it on my system, or can't start it once installed. Again, BONE should help out here.
Man, I need to spend time reading a book.
