He is making some good choices and some very bad ones. People are pretty blind to certain things because they WANT so badly for something and someone hopeful to lead them out of this quagmire were in. Its a dangerous state of mind to be in if unchecked. His approval ratings are already slipping a bit and the economy is only going to get worse in the coming short run. His approval ratings at the end of the year are predicted to be in the range of thirty percent...not because he will be a bad president but because he is human and the economy is in the sights of the citizenry and when it doesnt get better they will blame him.
I like him a lot for who he is but he lacks a strength(not character strength mind you he has plenty of that) in my mind that will cost us in the long run. I believe that our issues on foreign soil will get exponentially worse in the near future and coupled with a nearly crippled economy he may be vilified as much as if not worse than GW.
I hope it doesn't come to pass, and it's my opinion that hes a good man, and time will tell if I am right
you should admire me....wait thats not right.
BTW i am moving to colorado which i think is moderately more feasible trip wise so i might be able to come visit you and teh kate sometime.
