Roommate Wanted (Repost)
I posted a while ago that Kate and I are looking for a roommate - we haven't gotten any serious responses over the last couple months, so I thought I'd post about it again.
We're looking for someone to stay in a huge front bedroom that currently isn't being used at all, which is right next to the extra bathroom that this person would have to themselves. It's got a lot of closet space, and it gets a lot of beautiful sun in the morning. It's on the opposite side of the apartment from our bedroom and the living room, which means they'd have a lot of privacy.
That's not to say that they aren't more than welcome to hang out with us - anyone who was involved with E's House knows that we're really good hosts and accommodating folks. We've got a great dining/family room with TV and DVD collection, a huge balcony overlooking the woods, a kitchen, washer/dryer, and a basement prayer/meditation room that they'd be welcome to. We don't mind big gatherings at all, we love having people around.
We're pretty quiet folks. We don't do much besides the occasional gaming session or loud movie, I've got schoolwork of my own to attend to and Kate's not exactly a party-hard sorority chick. Of course, if we decided to have a big party or something, we'd let anyone know about it well ahead of time. We're open to planning regular meals to help save money and such.
If you or anybody that you recommend is looking for a good place to stay, comment or give us a call. We'd rather have someone we already know, but we're open to whatever. We don't HAVE to fill the room, but all that unused space is really starting to feel like a waste. A little help with the rent is never a bad thing, either.
