Generic Journal Entry
I've got a bunch of misgivings about what to post here, if anything at all. Too many arguments, not enough friends, too easy to find. But I keep wanting to post something. I thought about starting a new journal, but...what's the point, really? So here's something tentative and boring.
I broke my pinky toe on Saturday. Thought maybe I'd stubbed it, but it went the funniest shade of purple. I figure it's nothing - it's not sticking out at a funny angle or anything, although that'd be much more entertaining.
This semester I've got another class with one of my favorite profs, Gerry, so that's pretty cool. the other two classes are a bit ridiculous, though. One of them is a 2-credit class full of annoying busy work. Some of the more vocal students seem committed to remaining ignorant - we've gone over Section 504 and IEPs in four different classes, and they told the prof they "could stand to hear some more about it". He canceled class last week, so he wants to meet next Monday on MLK Day. I don't think so, Tim. You canceled it, you shortened your class by one session. Not my fault. I wouldn't expect you to come in and teach me what I missed if I took a day off for something.
The other class is going to be really difficult. Half of our grade is a research paper, and I didn't take the prerequisites for the class. The prof says he's going to give me a hand with it, though, so...I dunno. I think I'm just going to tough it out.
I've got my room down the basement mostly finished, so that's good. Been reading the Dresden Files books. Kinda wish I could play in a campaign of some sort. I need to get glasses and such. Avatar is good.
