Sentient station or not, Bill still liked to organise security patrols, to keep an eye out for any possible wrongdoing before the station's defense mechanisms were activated. Reading her messenger, Laura's eyebrows shot up at Bill's text. Firing off a response, she tried to negotiate with herself: No going to the hanger deck until all the paper work was done. But the more they talked, the more she had to see it for herself. Something familiar from home - well, what was home now - just appearing in this place.
Leaving the room, she walked down the hallways until she reached the hanger bay. She was quiet, but the clicking of her heels gave her away as she watched Bill.

Running a hand along the nose (almost as if the Viper was some kind of favoured pet), he looked up at the sound of heels clicking on the floor. Noticing it was Laura, he smiled.
"You see what I mean?"
