I got my period yesterday. For some reason it always coincides with traveling. I got it when I went to Panama, right before I left, when I visited B, and when I came home for Thanksgiving. Just goes to show how often my life changes, I guess.

I'm trying to just enjoy the moment. Luckily, I've had many opportunities to eat chocolate, sit around, and feel warm and fuzzy. Even Bones has been all gooshy and romantic lately. I love it. Debra is right there with me. She even rewound a scene today and played it back in slow motion so we could see Hodgins' hot bod and judge the subtleties of Angela's expression.

I went to the thrift store the other day and came away with cute spunky boots, a silver pleated skirt, and two pairs of Pants That Fit for $30. I am pleased, especially with the boots.

My aunt and uncle and cousins came today, and we had a nice low-key visit. My aunt made my grandmother's potato kugel and gave me a necklace with a mustard seed in it, as in that bible passage about faith. Sometimes I feel like that's about how much I have, and the necklace will be a good reminder for me to hold on to it. My cousin just started her first job as a first-grade teacher, only a few weeks after graduating. Arizona needs teachers like her.

Tomorrow Debra will give me a haircut, and I will teach her how to knit a preemie hat. Hopefully I will see Catherine, too. Soon it will be back to school. I'm significantly more excited for bellydancing class than comps... ha!

Now to snuggle up under some blankets and read more of The Alchemist.
