I'm home! Have been for almost a week, actually. But our internet connection sux0rz, so while I am home communication will probably continue to be sporadic, sorry. I still love you.

If you're wondering how Panama was, I don't want to give you the short answer. I learned my lesson when I came back from Greece. This time I kept a journal day by day, which I plan to post so you can see what I did with my summer in gory detail. For now, I'll just say I had lots of fun doing lots of things that are unlike me, such as playing sports and painting my toenails. My father hardly recognizes me. I learned things about myself that pleased me and some that did not please me. I met a lot of great people whom I can never forget. I have a lot of thinking to do about it still.

I am glad to be back in Arizona, see the creosote sweeping out to the mountains and smell the rain. I am glad to be around my family and Catherine and her family, and overjoyed that Hannah will be joining us shortly. Still trying to process all that happened this summer and get mentally ready for my senior year of college. Transition time. Shedding my skin. Whew.
