I am home! My room is no longer my room, and next year this house will no longer be our house, but my family is here and that's all that matters. They've taken lots of embarrassing photos (and a few videos) already.
Oh, Arizona, how I missed you and your interesting geology. I saw your scarred face from the plane and thought about how much your soil has been through. The stuff in Minnesota is way young by comparison, what was left when the last glaciers ground the top away, leaving fertile soil and great lakes but none of these gorgeous heights and caverns. Mountains! Without you the sky doesn't look right...
