June stuff ...
It's the second week of June already and just sweltering hot and humid. This does not bode well for the rest of our summer. Weather calls for 99 degrees today. Thankfully there is AC everywhere.
Also in June we have a new Zombie. I can't believe I missed posting this earlier.
Finally there is a current dilemma for me. Starbucks and I recently had a little falling out. It involved one of their mugs I purchased for about 20 bucks (pictured here).
The story in a nutshell is that it leaked from under the handle. I took it in to the store I purchased it from to see if it could be swapped out. Unfortunately I didn't have the receipt. The barista who was new and didn't realize how often I visit said he had to ask the manager when she came in if it could be swapped. He took the cup and my number and that was the last I heard from that store. I emailed customer service and got the generic need a receipt email even though it was purchased with my Starbucks card. Now I'm out a cup and have to go to a different starbucks during the day. I'm just glad our cafeteria has coffee and soda.
