Goings on and what not...
Isn't life just grand at times? It often seems that way when you take a few well deserved days away from the office. I find myself having to actually think about what day it is. Sadly, this is often because I'm trying to decide when I should plan on getting my mind around the idea of heading back into the office. I have even logged in a bit to get a few crucial things done that just shouldn't wait. Meh.
Next week is a reward ceremony for a few people in the office. Ruth Chris for dinner and announcements of "Spot" awards. Cash rewards that can range from 50 to a couple thousand bucks. Most of the office got something but only the big contributors are going to the dinner. Not sure what to wear yet.
As for the time off this week? It's only to play.
There was a bit of surprise at the office when I said what I was doing, but I had to use a couple days or lose it, so what the hell.
Last weekend we had a bit of weather. Snow in early December is not a common thing in Raleigh in my nine years in the area. Especially snow that sticks and accumulates. The dog loved it though.
That's about it at moment. I'm doing well enough. Hope the same applies to all.
