I am such an idiot.
During the summer, when the AC was cranked up so high we were all freezing, right? So we closed the vents so it'd be less cold in our offices?
I forgot about it because I myself never touched the vents, because even standing on a chair, I wasn't tall enough to rig the vents, but Cindy was still working here then, and she...is tall enough to manipulate the vents. I had completely forgotten, probably because at the time, both of us thought she hadn't succeeded in closing the vent.
So Jesse looked at it, and the vent was closed. All this time, the heating was being blocked entirely from our office.
We went to the AR office and checked, and theirs was closed as well--Vernita probably had closed it back while she was here and the AC was going too high and again, no one realized it because those of us left here are too short to properly check out the vent.
I can't believe it took me this long to remember that though.
