Question and answer meme!
Borrowed from tempertemper, because I'm the world biggest sucker for a good meme. :D
The rules:
1. Each person must post 11 things about themselves in their journal.
2. Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post, and create 11 new questions for the people you tag to answer.
3. You have to choose 11 people to tag. [Yeah, I kind of broke this one.]
4. No tag backs.
But I don't mind if you only want to answer a couple, or if you don't want to make your own questions, or whatever. :)
My answers:
1. Do you celebrate Christmas and, either way, what are your plans for this holiday period?
Yes! On Christmas Eve the next street over goes caroling and then has a little party, so I always go to that. Christmas Day is for presents, a huge amount of food, and an evening drive to a nearby street that always has amazing holiday lights.
2. Writing or reading fanfic - or neither (what do you prefer instead)?
Both please! Though I definitely do a lot more reading than I do writing.
3. Desert Island discs... which 5 albums would you take with you?
Ack, this is a hard one...I'll get back to you (is that cheating? sorry!).
4. Favourite season - and why?
I never know how to answer this question, as there are things I love about every season. But at this very moment I'll say spring, because I'm getting a little fed up with the cold. :p
5. Hoarder or minimalist?
Kind of in the middle, but probably leaning more towards the minimalist side.
6. Where do you want to be when you're 60?
Alive and in good health, for starters. Hopefully married or in a committed relationship, with a few children and possibly grandchildren. I hope I'll have made a positive contribution to the world (not necessarily curing cancer or something huge like that, something small would be great too) and been a good friend, daughter, and possibly wife and/or mother.
7. What was/is your favourite subject at school and why?
There are a few, but for now I'll say Spanish. Being able to communicate (even if you sound like a three-year-old ;) in another language is an amazing feeling.
8. If you could travel in time would you go forward or back? When, where and why?!
I think I'd like to go back to right before the universe was formed and watch it happen, which would be about 18 billion years ago (as far as we know, anyway! Maybe the Big Bang theory is completely wrong -- I'd love to see what really happened).
9. What is hanging on the walls of your house/room?
In my room there's always a calendar, and at the moment there's also a strand of colored lights because I'm secretly 5 years old. :D
10. Do you have pets? If so, pics please!

11. I was going to go all deep for this one, but then I thought... nah. So here it is: What is your favourite dessert? (I may be having trouble deciding on one for Christmas Day ;)
There aren't very many desserts I DON'T like, but I think my favorite is ice cream (this probably doesn't help you, since with a broken heater who wants ice cream?!).
