Well, this is not good
My grandmom fell and broke her collarbone and wrenched her hip, and is in the Belleville hospital.
So I may be less available for Pride and other weekend activities than originally anticipated. neeuqdrazil and mycrazyhair, we're still good for tonight, I think. Evenings, in general, should be fine. But my mom's going to want me to go out to Belleville on at least one day this weekend-that'll probably eat up at least one day.
My grandmom's 92 and independent, but increasingly frail and tired. She lives alone, by her own stubborn choice. About 8 years ago she broke her hip, and lost some mobility, but she generally gets around okay. I'm worried that this new injury will affect her ability to live the way she wants to, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.
