When it rains, it pours....
I spent my first year in Toronto with absolutely no theatre work. My first show here went up in July. My second was "Hockey: The Musical" which was in Oct. I've just started rehearsals for Jerry Springer. I thought that 2 weeks between shows was really awesome! Now I have to choose between 2 different shows. I got an offer today for a tour out in New Brunswick. It's paid work with a professional theatre. It starts on Jan. 5th in NB. Jerry Springer runs till Jan. 31st. I can't do both. Their are pros and cons to both. Financially, professionally etc...I think I'm leaning towards Jerry Springer. But I'd really like to get paid to do theatre work again. I just don't think they're offering me enough to live there and pay rent here and in NB. Grr...I'm going to call the Artistic Producer tomorrow and talk with her about the details. Hopefully I can take the weekend to decide...It's really too bad the gig in NB doesn't start anytime after Jan. 31st.
