NaNoWriMo

This far, NaNo has been a less than stellar experience. (Might have something to do with the fact that I've been and still is insanely busy...) When I came home from Borås on Tuesday evening, I had written a little over 10K on my story and I swear, every single word has been like pulling teeth. I haven't enjoyed myself at all, and my main reason for participating in Nano in the first place is to have fun. So, yesterday I simply decided to scrap the whole thing and start over. I'm going back to my roots, to the fantasy world I created for my first experiment in novelling. No real plan with the whole thing at this point. I'm mostly just writing up scenes and events I've been mulling over for years and years. Hopefully it'll end up as something similar to a story. I started yesterday and I've already written 5K! Now this is fun!

I usually try to refrain from posting WIPs, mostly because I hate reading them. However, after a bit of consideration, I've decided to post this thing as I'm writing it. If you're interested, it can be found in my NaNo journal, zinnith_nano. The first parts are here.

All right, that's all for today. I'll shut up about NaNo now!
