It's Sweden's National Day today, which I am celebrating by not doing anything at all. I have a work-out to look forward to in an hour or so, and I might iron some laundry later, but otherwise I'm strictly couch-bound. (Or possibly balcony-bound, if the sun should decide to grace us with its presence.)
Not much is happening otherwise. I finished the semester so now I'm on summer holidays from school (my real holiday isn't until August though, so still work work work).
- I went to have my eyes checked yesterday, for the first time in six years, and discovered that my nearsightedness seems to be getting better (which the optician says is an aging sign, so I guess I had that coming). I'm getting a decent tax return this year, so I actually got three different new frames and a lovely pair of prescription sunglasses that makes me feel like a moviestar. (And I only paid a little under 2000 SEK! Yay for cheap glasses!) I don't know about the rest of you bespectacled people, but I get so incredibly tired of seeing my own face in the damn things some mornings, and I figured that if I have the chance to switch pairs now and then, it might be a little more fun.
- I think I'm still short on sleep after the whole school-concert-work debacle back in April. But I slept almost twelve hours tonight, and actually woke up feeling rested, so that's good.
- Still in love with the Avengers and everything that comes with it. I have so many stories I want to write that I don't know which one to work on. And I might go see the movie again later this week.
- I wrote another short
avengerkink-fill:
Walk a Mile - In which there is a Youtube video of Tony Stark throwing up in public and Steve is making assumptions. (752 words, Tony/Pepper, but the only ones making an appearance in the story are Pepper and Steve).
- Seeing this on my feed made me smile!
dhewlett: Called Jason Momoa. Not because I miss him, but because I want to kill him… in a movie. OK, I might miss him a little! #NerdyManLove
Oh, David! We miss you both!
So, how have you been?
